If you are somewhat familiar with technical analysis and want to improve your ability to analyze the market as well as to make better buy and sell decisions, this class is for you. For those who have take Kase's basic technical analysis class this is an ideal follow up. Class attendees will be able to walk away from this class with an in depth knowledge of not only what works for buying and selling energy, but also how to formulate a short-term outlook for energy prices using technical analysis.

After a review of the basics, the class discusses how to use technical indicators effectively, with a focus on how to combine indicators into a coherent strategy, how to choose a time frame or bar length, scale-in and -out techniques, and very importantly trade risk management. The class also teaches the key points to devel-oping a forecast including market direction, turning points and targets.

This two-day seminar will be held at the hotels listed below or can be conducted on-site at your facilities. The seminar will start promptly at 8:00 AM and will finish at 4:30 PM on the first day. On the second day, the seminar will resume at 8:00 AM and will finish at 12:00 PM (noon). The program includes continental breakfast, lunch, and coffee for the first day and breakfast and coffee breaks for the second day. Attendees also receive a professionally produced seminar manual that can serve as a valuable office reference. Dress is casual for all seminars.

CPE Credits in Specialized Knowledge

This live group seminar is eligible for 11.0 CPE credits. Be aware that state boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. As of January 1, 2002, sponsored learning activities are measured by program length, with one 50-minute period equal to one CPE credit. One-half CPE credit increments (equal to 25 minutes) are permitted after the first credit has been earned in a given learning activity. You may want to verify that the state board from which your participants will be receiving credit accept one-half credits.

PGS Energy Training is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
